TENNIS COURT RULES
All tennis participants must have a signed waiver on file. It is the member’s responsibility to ensure guest(s) have a waiver on file. Waivers can be found HERE.
All tennis participants must wear proper tennis attire and court shoes.
No glassware or furniture is allowed inside the tennis court.
Only tennis players and tennis equipment are allowed on the courts.
All trash must be placed in the proper receptacles.
All players must exhibit good sportsmanship.
Tennis courts are for tennis play only. No other activities are allowed to include pickleball.
Children are not allowed on the courts unless they are playing tennis and wearing proper tennis shoes.
No pets allowed on the courts at any time.
Brush the court after each play. The court line sweeper should only be used for removing clay from lines.
Do not play on wet/damp courts. If the ball does not bounce, courts are not playable. If there is a “shine”, courts are not playable.
Light switches are located on the Hampton House office exterior wall that faces court 1. Lights must be turned off after use.
Remove clay upon entry to any of the Hampton House facilities.
Members cannot play music at a volume that distracts or disturbs other players.
Players should refrain from the use of profanity.
Members must have proper ID and/or membership card/key fob readily accessible to show any Hampton House staff.
Members must depart the tennis court areas and seek appropriate shelter when there is lightning in the area.
Members and guests using the tennis courts may access the fitness center restrooms through the designated side entrance with badge reader access. All individuals must remove clay from shoes before entry and must not disturb fitness center patrons while passing through the facility.
Members are responsible for the conduct of their guest.
Any HCOA resident that is not a Hampton House member is prohibited from use of the facilities.
Only Hampton House-approved tennis instructors are allowed to provide lessons at the Hampton House tennis courts.
